juni 1993 reiste vi over til Florida, via London. Første natta bodde vi på Waikiki Resort Motel på Miami Beach. Om morgenen hentet vi leiebilen vår, en hvit. 8- seters Astro, og kjørte nordover til Orlando. |

Om ettermiddagen var vi på Wet´n Wild.
Wet 'n Wild Orlando was a water park located at Universal
Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida. The park was founded
in 1977 by SeaWorld creator George Millay and is considered
America's first water park.
The park was featured on Travel Channel's Extreme Waterparks
and was also the setting for the music video SeA Vida É by the
Pet Shop Boys.

Magic Kingdom Park, commonly known as Magic Kingdom,
is the first-built of the four theme parks at the Walt Disney World
Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando, Florida.
It opened on October 1, 1971. Designed and built by WED
Enterprises, its layout and attractions are similar to Disneyland

Park in Anaheim, California, and is dedicated to fairy tales and
Disney characters. In 2013, the park hosted 18.58 million visitors,
making it the most visited theme park in the world for the fifth

Disney's Hollywood Studios (originally Disney-MGM Studios until
2008), is the third of four theme parks built at the Walt Disney
World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando, Florida on May 1,
1989. Spanning 135 acres (55 ha), it is dedicated to show business,
drawing inspiration from the heyday of Hollywood in the 1930s
and 1940s.
In 2013, the park hosted approximately 10.11 million guests, making
it the fifth-most visited amusement park in the United States, and
eighth-most visited in the world. The park is currently represented by
The Sorcerer's Hat, a stylized version of the magical hat from
Fantasia.
It replaced the Earful Tower as the park's icon in 2001 and will
continue to serve that role until its removal in 2015.

 Det var til og med snø i juli. Selv om temperaturen var godt over 30 grader. Dagen ble avsluttet med stort fyrverkeri. Det var jo 4. juli og nasjonaldag. |

Key West is an island in the Straits of Florida on the North American continent, at the southernmost tip of the Florida Keys. The island is
about 90 miles (140 km) from Cuba.
Key West is politically within the limits of the city of Key West,
Monroe County, Florida, United States. The city also occupies
portions of nearby islands.
The island is about 4 miles (6.4 km) long and 1 mile (1.6 km) wide,
with a total land mass of 4.2 square miles. Duval Street, its famous
main street, is a mere 1.1 miles in length in its 14-block crossing
from the Gulf of Mexico to the Florida Straits/Atlantic Ocean.
In the late 1950s, many of the large salt ponds on the eastern side
were filled in, nearly doubling the original land mass of the island.
The island is 3,370 acres (13.6 km2) in area.
